Job Summary

The Relationship Manager – NRI Services will be responsible for sourcing New-to-Bank NRI customers, growing CASA & Term Deposits (TD) for newly sourced and allocated branch customers, and expanding the overall NRI book (Customers, CASA & TD). The role includes generating fee income, executing micro-marketing and business development activities, and ensuring high-quality customer service while supporting branch-level initiatives for customer acquisition and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source New-to-Bank (NTB) NRI customers through branch and market channels.
  • Drive growth in CASA balances and Term Deposits (TD) from newly acquired NRI customers.
  • Expand the NRI book (customer base, CASA & TD) for allocated branches.
  • Generate fee income through cross-selling and servicing NRI customer requirements.
  • Conduct micro-marketing activities, campaigns, and business development initiatives in allocated branches.
  • Work closely with branch teams to ensure smooth onboarding and servicing of NRI clients.
  • Maintain excellent service standards and ensure timely resolution of NRI customer queries.
  • Execute responsibilities and targets as specified in the goalsheet assigned to each NRI RM.
  • Support additional business development initiatives as assigned by the bank from time to time.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification
  • Essential: Graduate (Any stream)
  • Preferred: MBA / Post Graduate
Experience
  • Essential: Minimum 2 years experience in NRI Business / Retail Liabilities in current or previous role
  • Preferred: 5 years experience in NRI Business

Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of NRI Banking Products & Services (CASA, TD, Remittances, etc.)
  • Proven success in NRI business acquisition and portfolio growth (good appraisal ratings preferred)
  • Excellent written & verbal communication in English, Hindi & Punjabi (Local Language)
  • Strong relationship management and customer handling skills
  • Good command over MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint presentations)
  • Strong analytical skills with ability in data compilation, analysis & interpretation
  • Ability to identify and implement marketing initiatives for sourcing NRI customers
  • Strong networking and business sourcing ability

  • Age Band: 28 to 35 years
  • Sales-driven personality with strong ability to build NRI relationships and manage portfolio growth
  • Good local market understanding and sourcing capabilities
