Work Timings: IST (9:30 AM – 6:00 PM), Monday to Saturday
Work Location: Narsingi / Kokapet, Hyderabad
Reporting To: Manager – Finance & Accounts
Compensation: ₹55,000 to ₹65,000 per month

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts (Projects) will be responsible for managing project-level financial activities including budgeting, cost tracking, contractor billing, and financial reporting. The role requires close coordination with site teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial control and timely project closures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, monitor, and maintain project budgets and cash flow statements.
  • Review and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ), construction drawings, Running Account (RA) bills, and final bills submitted by contractors and vendors.
  • Conduct joint measurement exercises with site engineers to validate quantities and completed work.
  • Track project-wise expenses, cost variations, and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
  • Assist in project cost analysis and prepare monthly MIS reports for management review.
  • Coordinate with project, procurement, and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate bill processing.
  • Identify and highlight cost deviations, financial risks, and potential overruns.
  • Support internal and external project audits.
  • Assist in financial documentation and activities related to final project closure.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline; exposure to construction or project management is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in Finance, preferably in construction or project-based environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction billing processes, BOQ formats, and standard measurement methods.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems related to construction finance or billing.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with site teams and manage multiple project requirements.
  • Willingness to work 6 days a week (all Saturdays are working days).
