Job Description

Position: Lab Technician
Openings: 5
Location: Guntur, Andhra Pradesh
Salary: 25,000 - 35,000 per month
Age: 20–35 years
Gender Preference: Male candidates preferred
Duty Timing: 8:30 AM to 6:15 PM
Weekly Off: Sunday

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct material testing and laboratory activities as per approved procedures.
  • Collect, label, prepare and maintain samples for testing.
  • Operate laboratory instruments and testing equipment.
  • Record test readings and prepare laboratory reports.
  • Verify test results against specified quality standards.
  • Maintain testing records, calibration records and sample traceability.
  • Report abnormal test results and quality deviations to the concerned team.
  • Coordinate with the Quality and Production departments.
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness and follow safety procedures.
  • Ensure proper handling and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Eligibility:
  • Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgy or B.Sc. in a relevant discipline preferred.
  • Relevant laboratory or material-testing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of testing instruments, sample preparation and laboratory documentation is desirable.
Note: This JD assumes a material-testing laboratory in a manufacturing/fabrication setup. If the role involves water or wastewater testing, the responsibilities should be revised accordingly.
