Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plants (STP).
- Monitor water quality parameters such as pH, flow and chemical dosing.
- Check plant performance and ensure operations follow prescribed procedures.
- Monitor pumps, blowers, pipelines, filters and treatment equipment.
- Coordinate routine and preventive maintenance activities.
- Maintain daily operating logs, test records and maintenance reports.
- Coordinate water and wastewater sampling and laboratory testing.
- Monitor chemical consumption and support efficient plant operations.
- Identify operational issues and coordinate corrective action.
- Follow environmental, chemical-handling and workplace safety procedures.
- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Environmental, Chemical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Relevant experience in ETP/STP operation and maintenance preferred.
- Candidates with a relevant technical diploma and suitable plant experience may also be considered.
